I'm having thoughts of backing away from being online. I'm not talking about some crazy "digital detox" nonsense, but rather a return to sanity when it comes to my time online. Related to that are thoughts about sharing photographs. Sometimes I take photos just to have something to share. Why do I do that? Photos should be for me, first. I don't have a real plan, yet, but I'm working on it.

I haven't shot any large format since my film supply was ruined by water in a power outage ice melting incident. I miss it a little. Large format is an expensive pain in the ass there are a million ways to screw it up. It's also cool and the results are uniquely wonderful. Here's a fun self-portrait I did when I still had the Linhof.

I'm losing my energy for any tool that displays words like "Upgrade to Premium!" anywhere. It annoys me more than it probably should, but I'll use something else, thanks.
